Thunder Moon and Shining Star: Full Moon in Capricorn and Jupiter/Venus Conjunction

The Full Moon in Capricorn was exact at 2:20 am UT/GMT Thursday 2nd July. In Native American lore the July Full Moon is also called Buck Moon, Mead Moon, Ripe Moon, Sun House Moon and Thunder Moon to name a few.

Capricorn represents integrity and diligence to me. The Full Moon is the culmination of a lunar cycle which began two weeks ago at the Gemini New Moon. Do you remember what you were thinking or dreaming about, or what you wished for at that time? Now is the time we see what we have planted. We may also be seeing what we planted long, long ago reaching for the sky; Nurtured by our diligence and integrity and firmly taking root now.

The Full Moon name that really stands out for me is Thunder Moon. Last Thursday I mentioned to somebody that I keep thinking about Thursday being named after the God of Thunder and Thor, but I don't know why. After the Venus and Jupiter conjunction (the so called bright star of Bethlehem, exact at 21 Leo 37, less than 24 hours before this Full Moon) and the fact that the Full Moon falls on a Thursday this month, and Jupiter also rules Thursday, I am seeing a bigger picture. This bigger picture has a deeper personal meaning which I will share because lessons are archetypal in nature so may be relevant for others.

The Jupiter/Venus conjunction fell within a degree of my natal Moon which is both my chart ruler and in my first house. For anybody not in the astro know, this is a strong lunar placement. On top of that, my natal Moon is the focal planet of a Thor's Hammer, a lesser known astrological alignment I was taught by my astrology teacher, the late Parampara Hughes. Jupiter and Mercury are the other two planets involved in my natal Thor's hammer planetary alignment which involves two sesquisquares and a square. In Mythology, Thor was given a powerful and magical Hammer. The Hammer was created for a greater god than Thor, so Thor needed an iron glove so the hammer did not destroy him.

Without going into any more personal stories, I relate to Thor in that I feel I have been given something made for somebody with more knowledge, wisdom and better boundaries than me; A gift that feels more like a burden than a gift most of the time; A gift which I have worked hard to become worthy of; A gift which has nearly destroyed parts of me, many times. It often destroys my peace of mind and sometimes it has felt like it could destroy me altogether. Perhaps you can relate?

I am reminded of a quote that from memory was said by Jesus in the Gnostic Gospels, "If we bring forth what is within us, what we bring forth shall save us. If we do not bring forth what is within us, what we do not bring forth shall destroy us." I have been trying to bring forth what is within me, but the gift my "hammer" brings me and my innate nature has made this extremely challenging. It has felt like I will be destroyed if I do bring forth what is within as well as if I do not. Until now. I feel I am being gifted with my iron glove, finally. Thank you Venus and Jupiter, and thank you Moon and Sun (Leo's ruler)

This lovely Venus/Jupiter alignment has brought something for everyone, both personal and in the collective, but we must take our gift, choose it, be grateful for it, acknowledge it, be worthy of  it and be humble or we risk being flattened by the energies. The energies have been powerful. The energies have felt amazing, but they are also shifting things so there have been MANY challenging moments too. This will continue. A friend just told me she is feeling waves of energy coming in very powerfully. Two days ago the Heart Of AN Activation took place in the Sacred Valley, Peru. These energies are permeating everything. We will never be the same again. Onward ANd Heavenwards!!!

What gifts of unity, creativity, love, abundance and good fortune can you see? What fruits of diligence and integrity are making themselves known to you? Enjoy and treasure them. They are your precious pearls.

The Gemini and Oak New Moon

The New Moon was exact at 2:05:18 pm/14:05:18 UT/GMT on Tuesday 16th June. As with every New Moon the following twenty-four hours is a potent time to set intentions and make a wish, or many.

After this intense Gemini Mercury retrograde most of us will have a good idea or feeling about what seeds we would like to sew at this time, so I won’t suggest any Gemini themes.

I have had a busy day and was out and about just before the New Moon was exact. I didn’t have any confrontations but I encountered a few frustrated and perhaps angry people and found many people wanting to communicate and interact more than usual. Perhaps that is because Mars is also in Gemini and conjunct the Sun and Moon at this New Moon.

Earlier today I was thinking how different forms of expression and different emotions are misunderstood and labelled as anger, as happened to me yesterday when I was very upset and hurt about something and was accused of being angry, something I wasn’t feeling at the time. Once upon a time the angry label may have applied, and while some over-reaction may still occur pinpointing the root feeling or root issue has never been easier.

Perhaps this Mercury retrograde has brought awareness or somehow refined and re-defined your thoughts, connections and communicating styles, as I feel it has for me. The best way I can describe it is what was once experienced as a 7 coloured rainbow has become a multi–coloured spectrum of shades, and what was once a multi-coloured spectrum of shades has become a multi-faceted and multi-dimensional experience and so on into what becomes utterly indescribable in words for me, at this time at least.

Recently I read something that said we are more than our astrology chart. It started me thinking about my definition of astrology and astrology charts again. We are greater than the sum of all physical and experienced parts, but so are the stars and the planets. Everything is greater than what we can conceive, but it is difficult to interpret and understand beyond what we are able to conceive. We are limited by our imagination. When we limit what the stars and planets are, and represent, to just the physical, we limit astrology and its possible interpretation. When we limit Astrology to include only our solar system and only the luminaries and official planets plus Pluto (not sure of its current planetary status) we also limit Astrology and its interpretation. I can see how people think Astrology is less than all they are, but ultimately this is only true of the interpretation of Astrology. We are connected to all things, “As below, so above, as above so below,” and we are made of stars. Many believe that Source or God/Goddess is a Star… anyway food for thought, something Gemini loves.

I am way behind on so many writing projects because this Mercury retrograde “took me out” in terms of my usual creative focus and outlets. Even as I type this I am standing, stooping over a table of normal dining height. I have had great difficulty sitting still this last month and it doesn’t look set to change anytime soon. So while I have managed to paint my Oak Tree Celtic Astrology sign mandala, I have not had the chance to research and write about it. I plan on adding it to this blog over the next few days but I’m not holding my breath. Who knows what the coming days will bring? The last few weeks has been very interesting and a huge learning curve energetically-speaking.

On Sunday 21st at 4:37:53 pm/16:37:53 UT/GMT, the Sun moves into the sign of Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice and "Full Moon" phase of the Solar cycle in the Northern Hemisphere and the Winter Solstice and "New Moon" phase of the Solar cycle in the Southern Hemisphere! I hope to write a little more on that too.

Happy Gemini New Moon! Don’t forget to make some wishes and set intentions for the next lunar cycle! Keep dancing!! Love!!!

Don’t Mess With My Mojo: Last Quarter Moon In Pisces, Mars in Gemini and Mercury Direct.

The Last Quarter Moon is exact on 9th June at 3:40pm/15:40 UT/GMT. Mercury swings back around this week. This should alleviate any communication/miscommunication issues including wifi problems which I've experienced the last few weeks. Mercury stations on 10th June and goes direct on the 12th at 10:33pm/22:33 UT/GMT. Mars is in play too. Mars is transiting Gemini, like Mercury, and is conjunct the Gemini Sun and squaring the Pisces Moon at this Last Quarter Moon.
It has been another fascinating week, albeit a challenging one personally. There are a number of themes that have been brought to my attention and I really don’t know what to focus on so I’m going to start with Mars in Gemini.

I read somewhere recently that Mars in Gemini is stubborn. I certainly feel like digging my heels in on a few things today. I mean digging them in so that nothing and nobody can move me anywhere I don’t choose to go. And yet it feels as though some force has been doing everything in its power to try and bend me, shape me, and mold me against my will. I keep thinking I’ve broken free and then it seems to find a new way to hunt me down, limit me and de-energize me. This is what I have to say on the matter: Don’t mess with my mojo!!!

Originally the word mojo means a charm or a spell but now it is more commonly said to mean sex appeal or talent. The definition of mojo in the Cambridge English Dictionary is “a quality that attracts people to you and makes you successful and full of energy.”

Pisces is the zodiac’s chameleon, Gemini is the “jack of all trades,” and Mars rules sex appeal and energy and therefore our mojo. We can be whatever we want and try a few things on for size right now I reckon, especially in these last couple days with mercury retrograde! Why limit ourselves to what we have become? Gemini has a Peter Pan quality and with the Sun, Mercury and Mars transiting through Gemini, why not allow ourselves the fun and freedom we had in younger years, exploring new ways of being and setting new possibilities fearlessly ablaze?

If you are going through the same thing as me, dormant parts of self are rising from deep within and unexpectedly springing to life. The restrictive controlling forces that I have experienced and observed this week have aroused my inner rebel, and as I said above, I’m digging in my heels. I’ll shift and change, but I’ll do it on my terms. I’ll do it my way!!

It’s been a bit of an exhausting week really. I’ve felt scattered and like I was in the next room or the next universe in more than a few moments, but now I’m focused on calling back the scattered parts of myself. I’m calling my mojo back home and I have no intention of letting it dissipate again. I feel this will continue as a process as the Sun, Mercury and Mars move through the rest of Gemini, into Cancer, and beyond!
I don’t want to get into the whole duality light versus dark thing but I do feel it is important to work towards taking conscious and full possession of our energy and thoughts while aligning ourselves with what brings us peace and keeps us present and mindful; Now more than ever. I love expanding and exploring and feeling like I’m going where Angels fear to tread, but I feel time and energy is best spent, for the next little while at least, becoming as solid, present and peaceful as possible. We need to fill the spaces in-between the space we inhabit, if that makes any sense. Yes do it with fun and believe in the limitlessness of our beings but don’t sparkle with the stars unless we also have our feet firmly on the ground, unless we are firmly in our bodies. Spaces will be filled. We want to choose the space-fillers with as much awareness as possible.

The burden of our responsibilities may be felt greatly at this time. Perhaps we no longer need to be burdened by some of our perceived responsibilities. Really, we are only responsible for ourselves and our children, while they are children. Some of us are overly responsible and therefore overly burdened. I dreamt I was carrying around two large heavy wooden wardrobes the other night. Everywhere I went the wardrobes came too. It was exhausting, carrying them, finding a place to put them... I quickly realized one of the wardrobes does not belong to me and I began working towards off-loading it while processing the contents of the other. Turns out that the other wardrobe isn’t all mine either. My digestion was poor for a few days but has continued to improve since as I digest, process, and let go… Carting around these wardrobes has definitely been a major mojo-drainer and the discovery of this has been both interesting and unexpected! May the unburdening continue!!!

Next week is the Gemini New Moon. We may observe the deconstruction of old parts of ourselves and our dreams leading up to the New Moon. We may also gain insight and feel inspired by what is being deconstructed and/or what is being, or can be, created and constructed. Some of us may wish to be quiet, secluded and still during the balsamic or dark Moon phase that is the few days before the New Moon. This is a powerful time that renews and rejuvenates us for the next Lunar Phase.

These are amazing times. They may feel like heavy, dark and challenging times, but they are also full of beautiful possibilities and unfolding wonders; For eyes that can see; For ears that can hear... We may need to remind ourselves of the beauty and possibility constantly. We may frequently doubt it because it is not our current experience, but we must not give up. We need to find practices that bring us back to peace and thinking of beautiful possibilities. Mindfulness, meditation, gratitude practices, dancing, spending time with kids and spending time in nature are some tried and tested ways for many many of people. These things may not appeal to you. That’s fine. Find what does bring peace and grounding and do it often. We need all the gratitude, peace and presence of mind, body and spirit we can create.

Let there be peace, grounding and gratitude. Over and out, for now! LOVE!!!

Sagittarius Full Moon: Open Hearts, Liberation, Miracles, Bigger is Better and Rocking Our World

The Full Moon is exact at 16:18/4:18 pm UT/GMT, Tuesday June 2nd. In Native American lore, the June Full Moon is also called Honey Moon, Rose Moon, Flower Moon and Strawberry Moon, to name a few.

Now is the time to open our hearts as never before. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter is the planet of expansion. Jupiter is currently transiting through Leo. Leo rules the heart. Now whether this is the reason the heart has come up as a theme the last week I have no idea but I have had more conversations about the heart and love this week than usual. A friend was saying recently that you can grow the heart energetically/emotionally or physically. We want emotional/energetic growth. If we are unable to open our heart and expand this way we may experience resistance that can hurt physically. We may also end up with physical heart problems. I have found that my heart hurts when I intellectualize my feelings. Feelings are meant to be felt. Oftentimes our feelings are intense and uncomfortable, so it makes sense to run them through our minds, but in the long run feeling is what is required, and we will be forced back into feeling one way or another.

Every time I think, feel, and see something unpleasant or uncomfortable I say to myself "love is greater than this," because it is. There are so many confronting and tragic things going on in the world and lately I have found I need to consciously remind myself regularly that my heart is bigger and my love is greater than these things. I discovered a long time ago that pretending the unpleasant and uncomfortable does not exist prevented me from being present and feeling truly alive. As a good friend said the other day, we are called to integrity, compassion and empathy, not denial. Perhaps certain beings chose to experience uncomfortable, unpleasant and tragic experiences, but we all chose to birth a new world full of love and compassion. We must embody and live the qualities we wish to fill our Heaven on Earth with. With great love, compassion and empathic action we can shift everything, but that won’t happen if we turn our backs.

Everything may feel more intense and perhaps painful right now but allowing ourselves to feel liberates our being; Being okay with not understand our feelings but feeling them anyway liberates our being. It is okay not to know everything, to not have all the answers. Perhaps it helps to think of the “not knowing” and “not understanding” as a wonderful surprise that will reveal itself within perfectly unfolding moments. Right now I have no idea what is next but I am delighting in the thrill of both the unknown and the limitless possibilities of the times we are living in.

Personal miracles/miraculous-seeming breakthroughs are possible as never before. This has been one of the most amazing weeks of my life. I have nothing new to show for it in the physical and the week’s themes have been intense, to say the least, but I have shifted in a way I have wanted to for a very long time. Things didn’t start amazingly well. I felt very scattered for a few days after writing my last blog entry. I couldn’t focus on anything and found basic things a huge challenge.

The scattering was precipitated by an expansion that took me beyond my perception of the collective reality’s limitations and expectations. Then, quite unexpectedly, a few days later, something that felt like it had been holding my spirit hostage for some years, suddenly let go. By “holding my spirit hostage” I mean that a strong force had been squeezing me into a box that I did not fit into. It felt like the box’s creator used judgements, projections, limitations, opinions and so on, that were completely out of alignment with who I am to hold me hostage. The consciousness behind the force boxing my spirit probably had no idea what it was doing, but it was an excruciatingly uncomfortable time, and while I knew what was happening I was unable to put an end to it. I now know that the experience had its own timeline. There was nothing I could have done to end it before now. All I could do was what I learnt to do in the end; To be patient; To trust myself and my understanding of the experience; And to trust that one day that particular lesson would come to a completion.

I would go so far as to say that right now I feel great. I am soaring, just quietly. I’ve felt happier and more free before, but in those times, upon reflection and with hindsight, I was a bit manic and ungrounded. Now, the happiness and freedom is quiet, comfortable, peaceful and grounded, in my experience. I know from others how the current energies are feeling and I am aware of the themes they are bringing up, but they are not affecting me at the moment. It’s a personal miracle and I’m loving it!!! Hence why I feel now, more than ever before, is the time for personal miracles. Of course it wasn’t so much a miracle as the completion and reward, in perfect time, for a hard lesson learned. May this feeling last.

The Full Moon illuminates what may not have been visible even yesterday. The Full Moon is the half way point of the lunar cycle which began two weeks ago, at New Moon. The last New Moon was in Taurus. What wishes did we sew at the New Moon? What were we dreaming and thinking about at the last New Moon? Perhaps our dreams and wishes have taken root and are bearing fruit. Enjoy!!! If not, be patient and let go. Our human self wants it all now, but our eternal being understands that there is a time, a season, a lifetime for all things.

Sagittarius sees the bigger picture. This Full Moon is an opportunity to see things from an expanded perspective. Expanded perspectives bring insights through understanding beyond the little details many of us get caught up in on a daily basis. Seeing our life from a more expanded perspective can bring peace, optimism, patience and understanding where before there was a racing mind, confusion and overwhelm.

I have noticed some interesting things with time and time lines. Perhaps you have too? Most recently has been experiencing the present as the past, while it is happening. I’ve had this before and it has felt like intense Déjà vu but this time it’s more like Déjà vu on super steroids. I have experienced the place, the events, the conversations and the people before, and yet, I know these circumstances have never before lined up in this way, in the physical. This might not make sense unless you’ve experienced it. I believe such experiences are a sign that I am on the right track. Things are falling into place and I am exactly where I need to be. I am dreaming my true life into being.

I have written a few times recently about Heaven and Earth becoming one. Yesterday I was discussing current energies with a friend. I said it feels a bit like two dimensions are colliding and we are caught in the middle, experiencing both the creation of the new and the deconstruction of what no longer works. Perhaps this collision of dimensions is Heaven and Earth colliding, rocking our world, aligning to become one… It may feel uncomfortable, even unbearable, but it is also full of promise and wondrous possibilities. There is much to look forward to. There is a great celebration going on that some may be aware of, and others are consciously part of. Sagittarius is the zodiac’s explorer. Sagittarius loves breaking new ground. Sagittarius is optimistic, adventurous and enthusiastic. Let’s embrace these Sagittarian qualities as we experience being both the creators and the midwives of our new world!

Restlessness is creeping back in. I have sat long enough writing this. Time to break some more personal new ground!!!

Happy, big and beautiful Full Moon! Keep dancing! Celebrate! LOVE!!! Woohoo!!!

The First Quarter Moon in Virgo: Breaking Out of the Mould and Perfect Bliss

The Moon is in her First Quarter Phase. The first lunar square is exact at 17:18/5:18pm UT/GMT, May 25th. The Moon is in Mercury-ruled Virgo and squares the Sun in Mercury-ruled Gemini. Mercury is retrograding through Gemini and Mars is also in Gemini! All I can say is Mercury is expressing in many different ways, many of them challenging!

Virgo refines and seeks perfection, Gemini is an air sign who loves collating information and communicating; Both are mutable and therefore changeable.

I'm not sure how this Mercurial energy is affecting everyone else, but as somebody with Saturn and a Venus-Mars conjunction in Gemini I feel like I could be anywhere, fluttering and charging here there and everywhere, and in moments I am, but last night it became clear how best to use this Mercurial Virgo-Gemini energy: BREAK OUT OF THE MOULD! I was trying to go to sleep but was experiencing a familiar energetic pattern that I have always found uncomfortable and no longer find acceptable. I said STOP, no more, just like that!

The Sun has just moved out of Fixed Taurus and into Gemini. Feels like a perfect time to break out of the mould of other's projections, break the glass ceiling, move out of the box, and go beyond the limits set by others, and ourselves!! Mercury is the messenger, the God who carries messages between the Underworld, the Earth Plane and the Heavens. Mercury is not limited to any realm. Mercury can go everywhere!!!

Last night I experienced myself traveling in and out, up and beyond. I noticed that those who have set limits are pushing against a glass ceiling, so to speak. I allowed no other being's limits to limit me. The way I did this was to not check in on where I was. There was no comparison or levels, just expansion and limitless-ness. I soared because I can.

We all can but so many set limits in both obvious ways and ways that don't feel like limits. Whenever we feel or think we have arrived, fully awakened, evolved, that we are at the top, the pinnacle of our last mountain, we limit ourselves because there is always MORE!! If we have a body there is always MORE, more to discover, more to expand into, more to connect with, more to come into alignment with, more to embody!!!

It is not easy to let go of comparisons and attachment to knowing ourselves to be at a certain level, but doing so is the way to be truly free and limitless! Feel any tension and allow it to show where we need to break on through, to the other side, or better yet, where we need to create and be as though there is nothing left to break through, and then, so it is... LIMITLESS PERFECT BLISS!!!

Let's soar because we can! No limits!!

Let's dance! Let's soar! Love!!!

PS... Well that was yesterday, but today has been a very different story! I can't remember a time when I have felt more scattered! My explanation is that a foundation stone that no longer serves my true purpose has been removed, or my old story has come to a completion. The ensuing chaos or scattering indicates everything is shifting, the soul pot is being stirred, the pieces are coming together in a new way. Exciting but rather challenging...

The Taurus and Hawthorn Tree New Moon: Grounding What We Really Truly Want in the Physical

The Taurus/Hawthorn New Moon is exact at 4:11 am UT/GMT on Monday 18th may. The New Moon is a creatively potent time and is the perfect time to consciously make a wish or two. Mercury has begun its thrice yearly Retrograde period so for the next three weeks communication and the way our mind processes could bring challenges, or even some fabulous insights. Mercury is retrograding through Gemini, one of the signs it rules and is comfortable in, so I am feeling quite optimistic, and not experiencing any tech challenges yet. You can read something I wrote about Mercury retrograde a couple years ago here

Taurus is Fixed Earth and happens to be my Sun Sign. What was seeded in Aries is nurtured and built upon in Taurus. Aries creates something from nothing. Taurus grounds that something in the physical.

The Taurus New Moon is great for making wishes around manifesting physical comforts and personal resources. Taurus rules the physical senses so sensual pleasure is a big Taurus theme. Taurus rules “enjoyment of life on Earth,” says Jan Spiller in her book “New Moon Astrology” so the Taurus New Moon is a great time to make wishes around increasing or manifesting appreciation, gratitude, contentment and a greater rapport with nature. Taurus rules building and therefore wishes around creating solid foundations, persistence, resilience, perseverance and thoroughness are all supported. Taurus also rules patience, dependability and trustworthiness so now is a good time to make wishes around creating more of that in your life. Taurus rules self-worth, awareness of personal needs, appropriate boundary setting, strong values, self-acceptance and determination. A wish around this might go something like, “I wish to consciously experience feelings of self-worth in all areas of my life.” The Taurus New Moon is the perfect time to make a wish to release detrimental inflexibility, resistance to change, possessiveness, stubbornness, stagnation and holding onto dogmatic opinions. Taurus rules the throat, the thyroid gland, the metabolism, voice, vocal cords, chin and neck and wishes for health and healing in these areas will be supported at the Taurus New Moon..

In essence, Hawthorn, the Celtic tree sign at this Taurus New Moon, represents the energy of cleansing. Hawthorn clears the heart and mind of negativity, stimulates love and forgiveness and offers clarity. It brings patience and stillness.

Hawthorn is ruled by Mars, Venus and Vulcan. Hawthorn symbolizes purification, Sacred marriage and male–female unity. Hawthorn’s deities include Hera, Olwen and Mother Mary and it rules Blackbirds, Owls and Purple Martins. Interestingly I dreamt of a Blackbird today and last week I took some photos of the most heavenly light flooding Mother Mary’s Grotto in the forest nearby my house. I can see the influence of Hawthorn in my life at this time.

In healing and herbal lore, hawthorn flowers, leaves and berries have blood-pressure reducing properties, and can be used to treat heart and circulatory disorders, migraine, symptoms of menopause, insomnia and angina. The flowers are a strong sedative when taken internally and externally can be used to treat acne and skin blemishes. The berries contain Vitamin C and B-complex and can be crushed to treat kidney problems and diarrhea.

Hawthorn, as a sign of both fertility and death, contains knowledge of both reproduction and transformation. The Hawthorn month is a time of fertility, masculine energy and fire. Male potency is high at this time, following Beltane/May Day, so this is a great month for conception. The original Maypoles were made out of Hawthorn.

The Hawthorn Tree, along with the Ash and Oak, form the “fairy triad” and together attract the Fae.  The Hawthorn tree holds strong magic and forms a portal to the fairy realms. This is also a powerful time to focus on keeping a barrier between ourselves and things we do not want in our life. It is a great time to push away lingering and old problems, thoughts and irritations.

Around this time, five years ago, ago I spent a day with a healer out in nature. We were surrounded by jungle and a lake as we worked. We talked about goddesses, spirals, dancing, the appropriate sharing of knowledge and wisdom, and how clear our energy becomes once we are in a natural environment.

As we sat I was asked, “What do I really want?" Did I want to leave the Earth plane, ascend so to speak, into heaven? Did I want to teach on top of a mountain? Did I want Heaven on Earth? My answer was quickly delivered. I have known since I was a small child that my mission this lifetime was aligning Heaven and Earth; Creating Heaven on Earth.

Heaven on Earth is not a new idea and I know others feel that creating Heaven on Earth is their mission too. There are many of us, but getting really clear on it was helpful for me that day. I spent the next hour mediating on bringing two equilateral triangles (one representing the Earth and the divine feminine, the other representing Heaven and the divine masculine) together in a 6-pointed star alignment in my heart of hearts. There are many dimensions to this practice, and deeper meanings to the triangles, or pyramids and beyond, but I want to keep it simple. We are each a little piece of Heaven on Earth. Know it. Keep the greater mission of your life clear no matter what little challenges are presented; These little things may seem like mountains at the time, but they pass, our greater mission is a constant, conscious or not.

The mandala below is another version of the same idea. The pink cross represents the collective Consciousness embodied within Christ Consciousness, which spans, and therefore connects, Heaven and Earth. The diamond within the diamonds represents the absolute heart of hearts and purity.

In a nutshell, this Hawthorn/Taurus New Moon is a time to let go of or discover solutions to old problems and irritations, play with the fairies, open our hearts even more, be clear on what we choose to create and start living Heaven and Earth as one; First with our hearts and then grounding into our full-being, and so the physical realm!

Let’s dance! Feel! Wish! Love!!!!!!!!

The Last Quarter Moon In Aquarius: Integrity and Alignment to Embody Heaven on Earth

The Last Quarter Moon was exact at 10:35 GMT/UT on Monday 11th may, about half an hour before I began to write this blog entry.

I have had a busy few days with guests and have had far less time and head space, than usual, to process the current astro-energies.

The main thing on my mind today, and of late, has to do with alignment, integrity and the conservation of personal energy.

If ever there was a time to stand on one’s own feet and stand up for oneself, it is now. For far too long many of us have given freely of our time, energy and knowledge to prop-up and benefit others. This was perfect before, but no longer.

We simply cannot compromise our integrity and be out of alignment with our truth in order to be liked, approved of or in service to the will or vision of others.

We have only enough for our own purpose now, and it is high time to completely align with that purpose. We must not allow ourselves to be manipulated into giving over any of our personal power, energy, knowledge to anybody. This may sound hard or even selfish, but there is simply no other way for us to become all that we are, and fulfill our personal destinies. We can no longer afford to prop-up others, because we only have enough for our own purpose.

Everyone must do their own work now, for the sake of the greater picture. We are all a little piece of heaven which we must now embody and ground so that the greater picture, that is Heaven on Earth, may become whole and visible.

Short and sweet and perhaps a bit of tough love, but there it is, as I see it today.

Let’s dance together embodying our unique being and purpose!!! Heaven on Earth is the new world! We can do this! We were born for this! LOVE!!!

Scorpio Full Moon: Illuminating Deep Truths

There are a few things I would rather be doing right now (sleeping and sleeping:) but I feel a strong compulsion to write and share my ramblings about the coming Scorpio Full Moon on Monday 4th May, exact at 3:42 am UT/GMT.

In Native American lore April’s Full Moon is called Planter’s Moon, Pink Moon, Do Nothing Moon and Big Wind Moon, to name a few. The Scorpio Full Moon is Wesak, the legendary time of Buddha’s return. In Chinese Astrology this is the Dragon Full Moon, and in Celtic Astrology it is the Ngetal/Reed Full Moon whose symbols are the white hound and the stone. In both Modern Western and Modern Celtic Astrology this Full Moon is ruled by Pluto.

Scorpio’s waters are deep, dark and oftentimes feel murky. We are feeling within the realms of the subconscious. At Scorpio Full Moon buried emotions and psychological impulses surface, sometimes very unexpectedly, into our conscious awareness. In other words a spotlight shines on a deeper truth behind our impulses, compulsions, emotions and thoughts. Scorpio probes deep. Scorpio and it’s planetary ruler, Pluto, rule the underworld and transformation. We may find this Scorpio Full Moon illuminates our transformation so that we may appreciate how far we have come and make a leap forward.

At New Moon seeds are sewn from both our conscious wishes and our subconscious and unconscious dreams and desires. At Full Moon we see what we have sewn. What is rising into our conscious awareness from our inner depths at this time?

I am reading “Yesterday’s Sky: Astrology and Reincarnation,” by Steven Forrest. The process of understanding my chart’s deeper meaning, in terms of past-life issues which have been restricting me this life, at least on an emotional level, is proving to be very transformational. The impulse to dig to a deeper level of self-understanding is very Plutonic and Scorpionic. I am discovering that everything I have ever felt, thought and remembered about my previous life-times is in my birth chart. This is illuminating and confirming the depth of my self-perception and understanding over decades which is wonderful as I had started to question if perhaps I had been accessing collective memories rather than personal past-life experiences. I feel transformed and empowered at this Full Moon and it feels crystal clear to me that the only way through to fulfilling my destiny and embodying my full-potential is to be in a state of super awareness and consciousness in every moment. It’s a huge ask but I feel this is the same for many… The Scorpio Full Moon is in perfect time.

In between writing this, I am watching “Selma,” a movie which chronicles, in part, Martin Luther King’s Civil Rights Movement. I was already thinking deeply about my purpose and what raising consciousness means to me when King was quoted in the movie as saying something like, “we need to raise white consciousness if we want racial equality.” What does raising consciousness mean to you and what is its purpose in a broader spiritual sense? What can we hope to achieve as the old world gives birth to the new? Will the new be a creation of elevated consciousness or the creation of unhealed deeply buried and subconscious psychological impulses? What is the Scorpio Full Moon illuminating for you so that you may raise your consciousness even further? When we raise our consciousness we contribute to the raising of the collective consciousness…

Last weekend (the weekend of the First Quarter Moon) while I would have liked to have been sleeping soundly, I was both wide awake and feeling expanded. Part of me would like to keep the experience to myself but I also feel it’s important I share the possibilities, the grace we are being afforded at this time, as well as expressing gratitude for the period of personal grace we were all given, which has come to a completion so that we may level- up, step-up, or man-up (a sporting expression and a line in the closing credits track in Selma).

Whether we have been aware or not, we have experienced a period of grace where all were given the opportunity to experience raised states of consciousness and receive information that may have otherwise been beyond our state of consciousness and awareness. Doors were unlocked and left wide open for us to walk through energetically. The doors are still wide open, but in order to stand on our own feet in self-achieved expanded states of awareness, our support structure has completely shifted. The purpose of this period of grace was to demonstrate, from within, what we needed to align with to be whole, healed, aware and a more expanded being. When this period abated or abates we may experience anything from feeling abandoned, to dead inside, to understanding that the training wheels are off and perhaps even being excited at coming into our own empowerment. We each experience this at a different moment in time for reasons that are complex and beyond me to explain in his moment.

After the Full Moon, light begins to wane and there is a break-down of what is no longer useful or relevant. The forces of creation and the forces of destruction are one due to the cyclic nature of energy. Like the dark and the shadow, destruction is feared. Like the light, creation is held in high esteem. Yet, light cannot exist without dark and creation is made possible through transformation of energy. Nothing is ever really destroyed, rather, energy has been transformed. The breakdown of energy which is to be transformed, is oftentimes experienced as a form of destruction, no matter how gentle.

Last week I heard the words, “I feel like destroying something, I feel like getting even with those who have caused harm…” Gentle words were spoken to the likes of the Fates, the Furies, Shiva, Kali, or whatever we may call the Goddesses and Gods of Divine Retribution, Karma and Destruction. Personal vendettas and vengeance for its own sake will not be supported. The priority is that Mother Earth and her inhabitants shift as gently as possible. Apparently spontaneous collective consciousness raising is set for the coming months and will take place in unprecedented ways. In honour of Mother Earth’s wishes I will call the cyclic transformation of energy, deconstruction and construction, rather than destruction and creation.

The Earth Keepers continue to dance through time. We are invited to join the party at any moment and we may leave at any moment. We dance to support Mother Earth’s shifts and to assist the conscious creation of the new where each being is valued and celebrated purely for being, and no being is in need of nourishment; Body, mind or spirit.

Our personal objectives will be supported when they serve the greater good and Mother Earth’s plan and our true purpose and destiny. Greedy personal gain, at the expense of Mother Earth and her inhabitants health and well-being, will likely fail because the collective consciousness will be elevated to such an extent that support will simply and gently be withdrawn. Liars and cheats will be exposed and their former methods no longer tolerated. I believe we will be gentle as these shifts take place, understanding that once old behaviours have been released we will not hold others, or ourselves, to what they/we were, rather, we will believe in all the wonderful that we and others are capable of, and we will embody this from that moment forth, in all directions of time, across all states of awareness and dimensions.

Lastly, a timeline, of sorts… I saw within the boughs of the Willow tree, two sea serpents and their cosmic egg at a Full Moon. The new was birthed as though from a woman whose thighs were the two branches of a Willow tree. In Celtic Mythology the Willow Tree was the first tree and the Sea Dragon’s egg, contained within its boughs, gave birth to the Cosmos and the Earth. The last New Moon was both the Aries and Willow New Moon. The Willow Full Moon is late in the year, and I expect it will be a time when the new will be seen and experienced as never before.

Let’s celebrate what is rising from the depths of our beings and into our awareness at this Full Moon.

The party is in full swing, we only have to remember our eternal invitation to attend and celebrate together; Both the deconstruction of what no longer serves Mother Earth’s plan, and the construction of what does.

Let’s dance!!! LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

First Quarter Moon in Leo: Self-worth and Grounding Our Heart’s True Wish

It’s been an inexplicable week in many ways with a few more obvious and physical “symptoms” coming up for review and release/healing The other main thing I have observed has been lack of self-worth issues, and on the other end of the spectrum, entitlement issues.

The Sun is in Taurus and the Moon is in Leo when the First Quarter square is exact at 11:55 pm/23:55 UT/GMT, Saturday 25th April. Taurus and Leo are both fixed signs, and in Medical Astrology, conditions tend to be physical and often chronic. The other fixed signs are Scorpio and Aquarius.

I first noticed nose/sinus and eye issues at the Aries New Moon last week and since I have had issue with my tongue and speech, have noticed a few strange heart flutters and have an itchy red rash right over my thymus gland. About half an hour ago I fell over and hurt my neck playing soccer with my son who twisted his ankle just after that, and my large intestine is feeling really heavy as I write. Aries rules inflammation (rashes) and both the sinus and eyes, Leo rules the heart and the thymus gland, Scorpio rules the bowels, Aquarius rules the ankles and Taurus rules the neck.

It seems the body parts ruled by the particular signs the Moon has been in, or will be in, at key times this Lunar cycle are being clearly brought into my awareness . The last New Moon was in Aries, the First Quarter Moon is in Leo. The Full Moon on the 4th May will be in Scorpio, the Last Quarter Moon on 11th May will be in Aquarius, and the next New Moon on 18th May will be in Taurus.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) the tongue is the sense organ for the Fire Element (Heart, Small Intestine, Pericardium and Triple Heater meridians) and the nose is the sense organ for the Metal Element (Lung/Large Intestine Meridians). In simple terms, the Heart’s psychological/emotional function in TCM is related to vitality and the spirit of living and enthusiasm. Our capacity to experience joy, love, forgiveness, self-love and process sadness are all related to the Heart. The psychological/emotional function of the Lungs is the capacity to let go, be flexible and to process and release grief.

Self-worth and entitlement issues are Leo themes. Leo often looks outside self for validation and needs can be like a bottomless pit which cannot be met, no matter how much validation and reassurance is given, until the root issues are worked through or at least acknowledged. The same is true for entitlement issues. Those with entitlement issues also have an insatiable need to be validated but demand it in a more aggressive or diva-like manner.

Stringing it all together we are being shown physically any remaining emotional blocks and unresolved issues. I can never be sure how much of my experience is purely personal and how much is also a reflection of the collective but I’m going to write as if my experience is collective.

Taurus is a loyal sign, but once hurt deeply, forgiveness or letting go is difficult. Leo, when hurt deeply, closes their heart and the energy drops into the solar plexus creating a neediness that may as well be an abyss. However, with a little self-awareness and inner work, little miracles are possible in these times. A little work or a little insight goes a long, long way. Big shifts are easily possible now, whereas before big shifts felt like they came only after an immense amount of work. Less is more, literally.

I was chatting to a friend yesterday about all manner of things and one of the conversation’s pearls was: “It’s time to know that when you open your heart, you will be nourished and you will flourish!” (Sandra). Our heart’s true wishes are within our grasp, we only have to be open to receive.

The First quarter Moon is not called “crisis in action” for nothing. Listen to the body now, if it is drawing attention to issues that need to be resolved, healed or released, and the fruits of our labour and inner work will be evident at Full Moon in a week, or we will at the very least glimpse coming expanded possibilities. If we have been putting off a trip to the doctor/therapist for a health issue, avoiding a conversation that needs to be had, or avoiding anything that is unresolved that we are aware of, now is the time to act. We are worth it, every single one of us!

I saw a post on FB the other day about us all having been given a clean slate. I recently pulled the blank rune three times in a row. We are at a point where everything is possible, as I discussed in my last two New Moon blog entries. However, any unresolved issues that are being brought into our awareness now, which we choose to ignore, risk leading to us sabotaging our dreams and wishes, visions and inspirations all too easily because we are more powerfully creative now, than ever. Releasing any emotional blocks evident in our bodies now will help ground not only our heart’s true wish, but more of our expanded being into our awareness as well.

Let’s go for it! Let’s release all that pent up sadness and grief, caused by lifetimes of disappointment and hurt. This is the lifetime of dreams come true!!! This is the lifetime of living the value of our worth as well as honouring each other.

Let’s dance!!! Let’s create the world of our dreams, our heaven on Earth!!!

Love, love, love!!!!!!!!!!!

The Aries, Willow and Dragon New Moon: Beautiful Possibilities

The New Moon in Aries is also the Dragon New Moon in Chinese Astrology and the Willow Tree/Sea Serpent New Moon in Celtic Astrology. The New moon is exact at 18:56:48 GMT/UT on Saturday 18th April, 2015.

The New Moon is a potent time to set intentions, or make a wish, as it is the beginning of the Lunar Cycle, when seeds of the new are sewn. Tomorrow’s New Moon in Aries is the first New Moon since the Vernal Equinox (Northern Hemisphere) and for some it marks the true beginning of Western Astrology’s Solar Year.

“The Vernal Equinox symbolizes the birth of the Fire element. Fire is the first element we encounter on the Tropical Zodiac. Fire is the principle of action. Fire, like Spring, is the spirit of out-rushing energy which charges into the cosmos, obliterating all that stands in its way…Aries is Cardinal Fire…Cardinal refers to birth, the beginning of a cycle. It is the principle of initiation where something arises out of nothing. Cardinality is the creative urge that allows new life to manifest itself into a universe that may already be stable and closed…Cardinal energy reinforces what Fire represents…Aries is the will to exist, the life-force. First there is nothing (Winter). Then there is something (Spring). Out of seemingly nowhere, life bursts forth, claiming its place. “
(Quote from a recent Astrology article I wrote for It’s All Well+Good Magazine. Click HERE to read the rest of the article.)

“Aries teaches courage. It represents the ability of the will to triumph over any intimidation, any obstacle, any doubt.” (“Inner Sky” by Steven Forrest)

The Aries New Moon is a potent time to plant seeds that break new ground. Aries-themed wishes include wishes around new beginnings, authenticity, self-focus, self-discovery, disengaging from patterns of self-absorption, innocence, courage and independence. Aries rules the brain, head, face, sinus and blood, in terms of blood energy. Aries is ruled by Mars. Mars rules inflammation. Any wishes for health in these areas will be supported by the Aries New Moon.

Just a little Medical Astrology link and Aries New Moon wish suggestion for anybody experiencing depression or prone to depression or melancholy: there have been a few articles recently published about research that shows depression is driven, if not caused, by inflammation. As Mars rules inflammation and Aries, and Aries rules the brain as well as the blood through which hormones are transported, make some wishes around your depression lifting or around gaining insight into its root cause or wish to find the perfect therapist to help you work through it.

Everything becomes possible at the Aries New Moon…

It is also the beginning of Dragon month in Chinese Astrology. You might feel increased power and strength because this new Moon begins the month of the Metal Dragon. The Metal Dragon, or white Dragon, is powerful and intense. There is a sense of karma or fate in even the smallest interactions this month. Mighty Dragon is the most powerful sign of the Chinese zodiac, a strong leader who brings luck, prosperity, and rain.” (Susan Levitt -

This is also the Willow Tree/Sea Dragon New Moon in Celtic Astrology. Willow is ruled by the Moon. Willow has a long and extensive history of symbolism affiliated with ritual and metaphysical practices. Willow tree leaves have been found in megalithic burial sites and the tombs of the Pharaohs. At the Feast of the Tabernacle, ancient Israelites decorated their altar with Willow boughs. The Willow tree was considered one of the trees of enchantment, along with the Ash, in Northern Europe and Greece. The first tree of creation in Celtic mythology was the Willow. In the Druidic creation myth the two scarlet sea serpent’s eggs, which contained the Sun and The Earth, lay hidden in the boughs of the Willow. Thus, the universe was “hatched,” symbolizing both cosmic birth and the birth of life on Earth. In Robert Graves account of the life and death of Jesus, Mary Magdalene was living in a Willow tree when she and Jesus first met.

The wood of the Willow has been used in ceremonies to honour the Moon and to enhance psychic abilities. Symbolically flora and fauna in close proximity to water were thought to inhabit the psychic realm and inspire the imagination. Magically Willow is used in New Moon magick, creativity, fertility, love divination, protection, healing and female rites of passage. A wand made of Willow wood can be used for protection during underworld journeys, to promote more vivid dreams and to draw down the Moon. Witches brooms are traditionally bound with the branch of a Willow.

Willow bark contains salicylic acid which is used to make aspirin. Willow bark infusions have long been used as a remedy for rheumatism, fever and chills. Willow sap applied directly to the skin is an acne remedy. Boiling Willow bark and leaves in water to create a strong decoction and applied once cooled to the scalp is a remedy for dandruff.

Willow is extremely flexible. It can bend into the most extreme poses without snapping. This is a powerful metaphor for the spiritual path. We can be bent but not broken when we are flexible and adjust to challenges rather than fighting against them.

“I am a willow of the wilderness, loving the wind that bent me.” (Ralph Waldo-Emmerson)

The Willow can take root from a single branch in moist conditions and can thrive in the most challenging conditions, a further testament to its adaptability and a reason it is called the Tree of Immortality. Willow reminds us to keep growing and reach higher no matter where we are rooted.

“Willow asks you to bend with her into the path of retrieval. Follow the labyrinth trail, connect with the power of wisdom and the rhythm of your soul, and return to the ordinary world strengthened. You will find that your awareness of your purpose is stronger and your intent cannot be broken by the spell of someone else’s desire.”  (“The Faces of Woman-Spirit - A Celtic Oracle of Avalon,” by Katherine Torres)

In the "Wisdom of Trees," Jane Gifford says the Willow encourages us to express deeply buried feelings so as to ease sadness through tears and the grieving process. The Willow reminds us that sometimes we need to let go completely, to surrender to the watery world of the subconscious and emotions; So that we may be led to a deeper understanding of our inner-most feelings, hidden motives and secret desires and fears. Suppressed and unacknowledged emotions can lead to energetic imbalances and stress, which can lead to illness. The Willow helps us acknowledge that within every loss is the potential for something new.

“We teach what we need to learn,” really! Our experience, process and transformation inspires us to share and inspire others to reach for the stars. It ignites our passion and creativity. In a sense all creativity is ignited by a passion for discovery. The creative process offers a spectrum of lesson opportunities. The more passionate the creator becomes about self-discovery and self-mastery, the longer the path, the greater the challenge, the deeper the experience, the more developed the innate gifts, and the more expanded and connected the resulting being becomes. This drive has an Aries flavour.

Yesterday morning during my mediation/contemplation I heard the words, “I am more evolved than you are.” I find this kind of thinking strange but it also triggers me, because of the arrogance, and because I feel sadness that the spiritual path has become a field of competition.

A truly spiritually evolved being is gentle and humble. They may or may not share their experience and speak their truth, but the need to compare themselves has long since left them.

Anyway, how can one possibly judge the spiritual evolution status of another being? Aries is competitive by nature. Used most powerfully this Aries-flavoured drive can be used to propel us forward on the path towards becoming the greatest version of ourselves. Used in a less productive manner (long-term) this brings out the worst kind of competition, the ego-fueled spiritual evolution game. Nothing wrong with a healthy ego, in my opinion, but when the ego is disowned or projected it becomes like a raging beast which fills our mind with all manner of distorted thoughts, driven by anything lurking in denied and disowned parts of our being.

In my experience the assessment of status of somebody’s spiritual evolution is usually based upon things like their current challenges. Let’s say Bob is going through some kind of breakdown. Betty thinks, and maybe even says, “Oh I already had a breakdown and recovered, I’m more spiritually evolved than Bob.”

Not everyone needs to have a breakdown, illness, spiritual emergency, tragic event, near-death experience or trauma to evolve to their next level, though for some of us it feels like we've had one thing after another. Bob may have been on his path for a long time and been in a really aware and expanded state of being when he began to go through his breakdown, while Betty’s breakdown may have been what took her out of her old life and put her on her spiritual path. How can you compare?

Who can tell who is where by when they had their breakdown? These challenges or lessons are merely spokes on the Great Wheel. We don’t all do the spokes in the same order. Some people do not do every spoke in a lifetime, some do a few spokes over and over again. Ultimately the path to spiritual evolution and self-mastery is unique for everyone and when we let go of comparison and judgement we leap forward on our path.

The Great Wheel brings me to time, cycles, spirals and the brain. Since Aries rules the brain and the Moon rules cycles, I’m going to keep on writing!
How we envision time says a great deal about which side of our brain is dominant.

“The right brain is relational and unifying. When the right brain predominates everything – humans, animals, plants, the spiritual, and physical worlds – is interdependent aspects of one living being. The right brain sees time as cyclic and is audial and intuitive. The left brain is masculine, linear, logical, and visual. “It has been prevalent in the analytical, technological and scientific intellectualism of modern times.” (Demetra George) The right brain focuses on how things are alike while the left brain sees the differences. According to George, left brain dominance sees a separation between self and others, between us and them. Taken to extremes this attachment to self as being external to others results in feelings of isolation, fear, and disconnectedness.”
The above quote is from an article I wrote about the bicameral mind for It’s All Well+Good Magazine. Click HERE to read the rest of the article.

The ancients saw time in terms of cycles; The Lunar cycle; The Solar cycle; The birth, life, death, rebirth cycle. Now, time is measured and thought of by most in the developed world as being linear. Cycles are circular, beginnings are also endings. Something dies but something else is born. Energy is transformed from one thing into another; nothing is lost.

It follows that constantly comparing ourselves to others, judging others and competing is a pretty left brain thing to do. Seeing everything in terms of oneness, win-win and interconnected, as taught on the spiritual path (though not always practiced), is a natural function of the right brain. Perhaps an important step towards spiritual evolution is, at least in part, the return to right-brain dominance; the return to seeing EVERYTHING as interdependent aspects of one living being.

The Great Wheel spins on a spiral, propelling us onward through experience, and upward in terms of frequency and vibration. Have you ever wondered why some issues and lessons repeat? We often think “but I've done this one so many times already, why? WHY? At least that is what I have often thought.

I feel that our core, deeply rooted lessons, challenges, gifts and life purpose are multi-faceted and part of how we are made. We can only address them up to the level we have reached on the spiral. As The Great Wheel spins onward and spirals ever upwards, back towards the source of all things, we also spiral upwards, addressing each spoke on the wheel destined for us again and again if necessary, or not, we can always resist. We can always choose to try and stay unaware or try and go back to sleep. Some are quite successful, or appear to have been thus far.

I saw a post on Facebook the other day. I can’t remember the exact words but it said something like, don’t focus on the shadow, focus on the light instead. All well and good and I agree, don’t focus on the shadow, BUT one of the least productive and potentially damaging things we can do on our spiritual path is to ignore or deny what our shadow is revealing to us, when it makes its presence known.

The shadow or dark phase is part of every cycle, including the Great Wheel. In the Lunar phase the shadow phase is represented by the Balsamic Moon, the last few days of the waning Moon and just before the New Moon. We can run from our shadow for the rest of our days, it’s our choice, but choosing to address our shadow when it is brought to our attention is the fast track way to unlocking our creative power. When we allow ourselves to acknowledge what makes us feel uncomfortable with ourselves and others, and why, we are able to make more conscious choices as to what no longer serves us, what is no longer in alignment with us and our purpose. The sahdow is not bad or good, it is just what we are denying, or rejecting, or what hasn't been brought into our conscious awareness yet. Sometimes what we are disowning and denying are our gifts and power. If we refuse to look at it, we won’t ever release it, heal it and become empowered by the gifts in the lessons learnt and challenges faced. It will keep coming back, no matter how much love and light we talk and sprinkle.

Earlier today I experienced one of those high pitched sounds. It blasted me in one ear but only lasted only as long as it took for me to acknowledge it and remember the purpose of high pitched ear blasts.

I am currently processing something that has been challenging me for some time. The lesson I am talking about has a lot to do with my boundaries and honouring myself.

The high-pitched sound made me wonder if I am missing something, if I need to look at the issue from a different angle, if perhaps I am being too stubborn and unwise rather than honest and true with myself? Perhaps there is an opportunity for healing the root cause of this situation?

Now I am dancing with my shadow. I have experienced a spectrum of emotions since the ear-piercing noise. I have both softened and experienced a brief outburst of anger. I don't get really angry easily or often, but when I do it can be pretty fiery. Fortunately it is over quickly too. I am reminded that once in motion, the pendulum swings from side to side before resting again in the middle. The high pitched noise stirred things-up, made the pendulum swing. I can only wonder where it will lead me.

I am posting this blog entry about 24 hours before the Aries New Moon. It is still the Balsamic or Dark Phase of the Lunar Cycle. The Shadow is likely to have come up for a review of something that needs to be owned, healed or released in the last day or so. It has for me. Perhaps you don’t recognize the energy that shows us what needs to be healed, released or owned as the shadow. It truly matters not what you call it, but allowing it to complete the breakdown of the old so that the energy may be transformed into the new is powerful creatively. That is what working consciously with creative cycles is about. This is more than just any New Moon. The shifts that have taken place since the Solar Eclipse, March Equinox, and Lunar Eclipse have been extremely powerful, even if we can’t see evidence of them in the physical just yet. We are different as a result, whether we are aware or not. We are in a position to seed the new with beautiful possibilities as never before.

Time to make a wish, or two! Let’s dance! Love!!!!!!!!
